Does anyone make an mma style shin pad with a really thick pad? I've seen the combat sports mma/grappling ones, which have a reasonably thick pad compared to some mma shins, but looking for something even thicker for someone with heavy legs, but would like something more mobile than kickboxing shins.
I've seen CSI's gel ones, but I'm dubious. I also don't particularly like CSI because a lot of the sparring gear tends to break/rip (talking about more expensive glove models too, not just the $25 stuff). -

Apparently, these are pretty good MMA-style shin guards- http://mmagearguide.net/renegade-mma...er-shin-guards
Never used those particular ones myself. And that style doesn't really give enough protection for muay thai, so I stick to my King pads. -
