He's a kid; you have to assume he doesn't have any money. When I was a kid I would have been killed or at least grounded if I drank a whole gallon of milk in one day. The answer to the kid's question is palms-in pullups in a park, playground or off a tree limb. Jump into negatives if you can't do one rep. By the time you can do 3 sets of 12 reps you should definitely notice new muscular development, especially at your age.

You do know that muscles are what allows you to move, don't you? To an extent, more muscle can lead to more speed. Just make sure you stretch and train for speed, outside of any strength work. Look at a sprinters legs sometime, they are pretty big, and very speedy.
Sans equipment, find a place to do some chinups. Body weight squats for the legs. Eat

Bigger biceps still won't get you laid, so you may want to approach this from a different angle.
Except for a fat ass or beer belly, why do you even care about increasing the size of any of your body parts?

Seriously though, biceps account for less than half the muscle on your upper arm - don't forget to work the triceps too, do lots of dips with those chins. Chicks dig triceps (or so I'm told).

look I do a lot of home workout sort of stuff. Sledge hammers, kettlebells, bodyweight, tires and plates. A lot of that stuff will give you good functional strength and if you have the genetics and eat enough will bulk you up pretty quickly. (Including biceps).
But I cannot show it to you correctly and good form is important.
So go to a gym pay a proffessional to teach you a home workout that is suitable for you and do that.

Again, he's 16. Keep it cheap and simple. Pull ups only; there's no way he can **** that up.

Prices for pull up bars on craigslist range from 20 to 30 bucks. I'm probably gonna find the time and money to get one by the end of the month.
Until then, I'm gonna use the one at the kyokushin dojo/gym I train at.
BTW, I like milk. Bananas, too.

Your genetics are going to play a big part in it too. don't cry if you train and train and your biceps don't grow as fast as you want.
Do lots and lots of chin ups to failure. Then do push ups with a narrow hand spacing elbows in aligned to your body. They will focus the exercise more on your front delts and tri's. Dont' forget to do alot of squats.
Your only 16 you don't need to focus on getting big biceps. Like another member said previously big biceps aren't gonna get you laid. It aint even gonna make you a better fighter by itself. Wait until you have more money and go get a trainer or buy the right equipment. in the mean time just focus on compound body weight exercises. Cheap and effective.
