Gaining Muscle

If density is not trainable then I have no idea why I'm as heavy as I am with such a moderate frame. 5'10" 190, and I'm only about 10lbs of that is not muscle.

I gain weight, but not size or fat, so it has to be going somewhere. That said, I think I'm going to start taking measurements to mark my progress. It sucks weighing this much and looking a lot smaller.

Being on Bullshido causes the brain muscle to increase in size, hence the extra weight.
Happens to us all here.

I weigh 225 and I dont look it.

Nope. I just train in Kyokushin at SU. I am a med student at UW. How tall are you, SAFTA?

I'm just under 5'11". I might have lost a few pounds lately though since I'vce been so broke.

I'm not saying your one person's muscle density is different than anothers, but as far as changing your own, that's quite a leap. I've never heard about that being trainable. Body density, yes...but that's body fat % for all practical purposes.

Water weight fluctuates too.

Where your weight is distributed would make a difference to the casual observer as well. One's upper body is where one's attention is usually focused.
