mcdojo gear?

Working on it. I don't want it to be some lame white t-shirt with an iron on so I'm trying to find a distributor that'll do custom work on request.

The thing is, this site is run by Choke and me, and I'm footing the bill for everything. I don't really have the resources to set up a true "online store" and keep an inventory, so I have to work through distributors like Amazon (for the videos and books we'll have available sometime later this year) and a few others to sell you training gear.

I want to have a few T-Shirts and McDojo Gi/Kimono Patches as promotional items, but I'm moving in two weeks to Missouri, so it'll have to wait.

I guess the big question is: do you guys actually want McDojo gear? If I get enough positive feedback, I'll put more energy into making it happen.

YES! I want a "Karate Killa" tshirt like Alex Stiebling's "Brazillian Killa" one, also a "Tae Kwon Do Killa" shirt would be cool <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. Also a patch would be nice.

Come to think of it, that shirt would start a ton of street fights... don't know if we should go with that idea.

i'm definately up for a t-shirt. i was thinking of more like the mc dojo logo w/ ronald in a gi. that would be slick.

you could put up a poll to see how many people would be interested. if there are enough, you (or the members) could submit some designs which would be voted on.

Who the hell cares <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>? They would just think anyone wearing one was a disrespectful hillbilly that wasn't worth their time. I think you should make a shirt like that. Your idea is cool, I'd like a "Karate Killa" one too, but your idea is better.

Another good one would be "Karate" with a circle around it and a slash through it. All the shirts could have www.mcdojo.com on them, it would create interest outside the people we normally reach.

K, I'll have to figure out the best way of doing it. Ideally, I'd just pay out of my own pocket and give a hundred or so shirts away, but more than likely I'll just see about charging the cost of making them + shipping.

If they're popular enough I'll get a few designs made.

I know I would be willing to dish out some cash for a mcdojo shirt. It is perfectly reasonable to ask for money. I know tons of people that I train with that would be down with a mcdojo shirt.
