You're either a really unsubtle troll or a total moron.

I would just like to know what the first school is offering. what is five animal kung fu? Is it really ancestral to wing chun and karate?

where did it come from to be taught at this school?

    is it a good school?

    what is it really teaching?

I think that must be a great school, san shou, southern tiger and crane, xing yi and bagua zha plus tai chi.

what exactly is southern crane and tiger

The five animals school is also a yoga studio. I cannot decide but I am pretty excited to try them out in person.
No, they really don't have animal forms in the sense you are trolling about. He is either trying to upsell or doesn't know what he is saying.

I know cultural relativism is a big thing in anthropology. Cultural relativism kind of assumes that judging one culture by another's standards is a barrier to learning. However, when we're talking real martial arts, we can find ways to draw conclusions about martial arts, if we assume that they are teaching a person how to fight. There's a very large body of evidence of fighters from different (and/or multiple) styles, and animal kung fu, wing chun, and shotokan don't have great records (yes Machida did shotokan, but he did other arts as well). If you look at the training methods, you can see why. Fighting is a fast-paced, unchoreographed, multi-person endeavor, and the styles you mention tend to practice in a choreographed, single person routines. This is okay to catalogue principles and so forth, but it shouldn't be the majority of training time. However, a lot of places, it is the central focus, because the art is taught in a linear way and there's just so many forms to learn. Therefore, their training is inadequate for fighting, especially against people trained to deal with an unchoreographed bout.
