just want to say that boxing sounds like a really good idea.

so does muai thai even though they dont have it here.

but i want the traditional stuff. i want to see what its like.

who knows, maybe ill be awesome with it and be able to surprise people at the boxing gym every now and then

and i am aiming as high as possible for grad school.....

I think those videos are pretty good. The tiger form had some nice kicks. Theres a lot more to it im sure than just forms and drills, but i think this is the authentic famous animal ancestral styles. im looking forward to the workout, I think it is beautiful. And as for Durham, I am a little worried about that honestly. ITs hard to be competitive when you didnt realize you needed to be competitive at the right age. I didnt party at all, but I had depression issues and didnt get as much accomplished as i should have. But I love anthropology and literature.

no, their forms were terrible. they had terrible stance work, no body connection no ging. nothing that i would look for in a TCMA form. terrible.

if you are looking for traditional, that's not it.

Its ok, im just trying to gain information about these styles from as many people as possible. Im actually a lot more worried about getting into gradschool than I am about doing kung fu vs something else.
