I respect and believe there's great qualities in Kenpo, but that video does not drive the point home to me. It looks a little too much of "you do this, I do this" type of striking. Compared to watching a western boxer/MT dude do a demo they just look so much more valid as a legit striking art.

Notice, how he always STRIKES when in a clinch-style situation, giving him a clear advantage over a Jiu-Jitsu stylist who simply attempts to grapple, limiting his tool-set in half. There is nothing wrong with the Jiu-Jitsu technique, and I rely on it as a strong grappling foundation, but for self defense there are just better options imo.

I get what you're saying, but when it comes to self defence, it's hard to generalise. There are many different styles of Jujitsu out there, and some do focus on striking, so it's hard to nail down a basic style. Here's a local Taijutsu(of the non ninjer sort) example,

They incorporate strikes and the clinch from Muay Thai, as they run Muay Thai seminars, and also wrestle.

I totally get your point, but I did stuff out of that video during my short stay at Bujinkan, and even Karate.
