If somebody finds a way to throw better or kick better or whatever it tends to be introduced to the general population and assimilated. Doesn't Wing Chun focus more on traditional moves? I have done man, they're awesome. But now we're actually coming full circle back to the issue. Aside from my dumb comments at the beginning , this was originally meant to be a "evolving MA world" kinda debate. Now you've pointed me in Omega's direction, and that fine, except Omega is not average, not by a long stretch. You, with your 5lb sandbags and I with my 15kg dumbells, are not average. These are not the behaviours of the average man. My point was, with a better educated society and wider exposure, more and more people can now see through the smoke and mirrors of some styles, given this change, should the marketing change also.

Sorry for Tl;Dr by the way, but im now talking about a financial and buisness perspective.
I honestly dont care whose style is teh deadliest right now. What I want to know is, do you think people will still pick MA's such and Chun, TKD, and say Shotokan, for themselves or their kids, when they can see for themselves which styles produce effective fighters quite easily now.

Oh, and before someone (not neccessarily you) throws out "street effective isnt sport effective". Yes it fucking is. Especially in the case of chun. ****, show me a proper punch, then we'll talk the difference between street and sport. Do you see what im getting at or is this all the ramblings of a noob/troll?

Mike, I think that this is a contentious point.
If this really were true, don't you think there would be less people training in styles that don't produce effective fighters?
