Rudy Abel Appreciation Thread

Actually concerning Omega's Kung Fu, there is every possibility that Rudy may be a higher authority than us on this. Ive uncovered some startling research. It took me a while to get over it. Rudy has an extensive history in Monkey Kung Fu, and well, there's a reason. See below.

Aside from the newbies craving e-rep and jumping on the bandwagon of hate, what has anyone said about the fight that was fishy aside from the fact that you lost because you didn't want to grapple Anthony? Have you actually learned from this loss or are you still maintaining the notion that Anthony just got "lucky"?

Disregard the childish hate comments, can you show us even ONE comment from a respectable poster that was "fishy" or untruthful???

Ear grind b/s aside, bandwagon morons aside, this thread and all the other previous ones like it aren't even about the fight it's just an example of how NOT to act after losing.

Read some of my earlier interactions with Sifu Abel before you lump me in there. I think he fought very well all things considered. I just think he whines like a bitch, and accuses people of being in some sort of anti-abel bullshido mafia.

I thought it was the other way around. I thought he was the most well know Kung Fu man on BS. It's just he's known to have proven his fighting ability in NHB, not with forms...though he does them quite well, as you know.

The thing is Rudy, you rage up so well. pre-gong sau, post-gong sau, and in every thread I've seen about it since. You make it fun for people to needle you.

I sparred Omega, and he toyed with me...without even digging in, because he's instructor level, and could tell I was pathetic. I learned a lot, and some of that, came from kung fu.

Having started one of the recent SifuYou threads, I feel I should say. I am not well respected, and shouldn't be, as I suck. I crave acceptance for my band, but that largely remains un-spammed here, except on certain appropriate threads. My guitar-fu is strong, but it ends there.

I can laugh at the gong-sau, because I can accept my mistakes, failings, and suckage. In person (I hope you make the mega in Boston early Sep) everyone's nice at TD's....BUT were you to cry, whine, and rage up in the gym like here...you'd get exactly the same thing as here. I know you would from me.

I know you feel attacked, but it's largely something of your own causing.

Rudy's been hammered enough in how many threads? Made a few comments myself over the years.

Not to be a Rudy apologist, but this thread is pointless.

Just want to make an observation about post-gong sau shitstorms: my experience is that even if you have every intention of accepting the result and moving on, there are always people who will try to make that as hard as possible for you. Yes Rudy's reaction was not what it should have been, but when we say "All you had to do was say X and not Y and Z..." it's not an easy thing to do in practice when the **** is flying and you're getting tagged.
