You probably don't want to hear my anecdote about how horses get done then, it involves a large pair of boltcutters and sounds like when you step on a snail, and when they fall off they roll off into the undergrowth, but you don't want to think about that.

Sigh.. I dunno if this well timed thread is making me feel better or worse about this process. Funny, I just got the name of a good doc that a couple of my buddies used recently. I dunno... it's a woman. But they both said she was great.

My wifey and I have two kids (boy & girl) with another little boy on the way (due in August). These critters are too expensive, no mas. I give up. Just gonna go get it done and over with.

So, a 3 day weekend on the couch with a bag of frozen peas, beers, and some mild pain killers, eh? Sigh... I've been dreading making this call...

They took pictures of the procedure when they cauterized my tubes. There was smoke. The photos were awesome. I need to find them again so I can frame them and hang 'em up in the hall where people usually hand baby photos. Awwwwwwh yeah!
