Thanks for sharing; I shall reread it every time I'm tempted to spend a month's income to have my pistol refinished.

Good thing I like my weapons in either black or stainless. I do, however, really dig that camo pattern.

So does your gun work again? Can we see an overall picture?

PS obviously a terrible service experience

Out of curiosity, why is your department using rural camouflage for the swat team? Is there a serious plan to perform covert assaults from a rural area? I've seen a few groups doing this and I was never sure what the logic was for doing this over standard black/navy blue gear.

I was shocked when I saw the rust in the barrel. I have never seen it so bad. What the hell.

Brother, a company called CRC Hydrographics saw one of my posts on another website and were pretty awestruck at the damage to my gun. They got on the phone with me (through a mutual weapons manufacturer contact) and offered to re-do my entire weapon system for absolutely NO COST. In their words--they said that they were thankful for the job that the military and police do for us, and that while they are unaffiliated with Meridian Hydrographics, they were also concerned about the negative repercussions about my situation on their particular industry.

Their website is here: Check them out and give them any business that you can. As you can tell by the pictures, they do GREAT work!

I'm still anxiously awaiting the return of the rifle for some pics for you guys.
