No Sir, we do not generally remove posts from this website. An exception to this rule would be if for example someone printed child pornography here.
So let me see if I understand this.
You tell a woman who visits that you teach BJJ.
You currently do not have a BJJ instructor at the school. They went through an army course that has some BJJ techniques.
Another instructor will return in August. (What is their name?)
Why not simply suspend the class until this instructor returns in a couple months?Last edited by Sam Browning; 6/09/2011 11:39pm at .

Looking at the correspondence he was fairly clear that the instructor was not a belted BJJ instructor, and it's possible to teach a grappling rule set as long as you have the basics down, especially when teaching beginners. That said, I'd expect one serious discount on all of this. A third of the normal price, maybe. The point of keeping the class open is so you don't lose the students, so you have to make sure you aren't fucking them over.
Also, has your Level 3 guy kept up at all? Those classes are one shot deals, and while they do put in a serious amount of time with them I'd want to make sure that he's actually done some rolling recently. Combatives tournaments have a format that's actually scored by BJJ rules IIRC (I think it mixes in some wrestling too for takedowns, but I could be wrong) so if he's done competitions that would be good information. -

The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. --Keith David--Ice Cube
