In my experience, everyone is that bad until they prove themself otherwise. But if what you say about the avatar is true, then I ought to give a varrot to Moose or something. That's one of the more clever uses of the avatar I've seen.

I recall seeing a section like that not too long ago, since my return at least. But, that may or may not have been before the upgrade.

Personally, I think it had more to do with the dramatic increase in site traffic and esp. advertising. Not to hate on the practice... I'm all for Bullshido doing what is necessary to exist. But, believe it or not, there once was a time where there was no advertising, no subforums, and few enough established posters that you could count them on your hands. Hell, there was a time when nobody at all was banned and Phrost was the only one with Admin power. Ahh, the good ol' days, lol.
