Res Judicata, yes that first one is what I was talking about.

JnP how do you get it in No-Gi? I feel like regular Kesa is too risky in No-Gi. In No-Gi I feel like I don't have enough friction to keep my back from getting taken.

The Catholic Church was never against evolution in the first place. In the mid 1800s it was already accepted that Genesis was not to be read literally. No official stance was taken on evolution for a long time, at some point during the 1900s they came to the conclusion that the soul is the exclusive territory/creation of God, but the rest happens however science tells us. The only thing they had a problem with is the concept that humans descended from a whole bunch of prehistoric people as opposed to a single pair, because that would nullify the concept of original sin and you can't have Catholicism without guilt. Sorry my dates are fuzzy, it's been a long time.

"Yeah, this guy came to the dojo and was all polite and ****, but he wore a BLUE BELT. What a fucking douchebag, we crushed the **** out of him, ha ha, fucking asshole!"

Doesn't sound a place I'd want to train at and not the person I'd like to learn judo from. This **** is part of the reason why I've yet to try judo, being a BJJ purple.

Because you're afraid you will get owned? Can't be a very good purple belt then...

It sounds like the guy came in, ran a session with you guys and then left and was polite the entire time. I'm guessing he let someone in charge know that he was coming and just figured he'd wear the stuff he already has for the one time he'd be in.

Honestly, he sounds like a decent guy. I'm not sure what the problem was. He might have broken some "tradition" rules, but I know a lot of guys that just don't take that stuff seriously.

Uh, assuming we're doing throws, I would EXPECT to get owned.

Judo guys are always jelly of the beejayjayers. Wearing your belt around them fuels the fire!
