I wrote out a medium sized post telling you that fried candy bars originated at the Texas State Fair in Dallas, Texas, and not in nancy-land Limeyville. Then I told you to Google it. Since I'm only marginally retarded, I decided to take the 10 seconds to Google it myself. Wikipedia says it was created in Aberdeen in 1995.

Damn you Wikipedia. I could swear that I ate a deep fried Mars bar at the state fair in 1991 shortly before I shipped out for Desert Storm. Unfortunately, my sense of time has always been truly horrible, so I'm not sure.

incidentally, the guy never came back, as far as I know. Of course, now that my new **** job keeps me to one day a week, I will have to ask, but I doubt it.
