My chainmail shirt weighs nearly 30lbs, so wearing armor and carrying gear in the 80-90lb range doesn't sound out of the question at all (especially considering that like today, a past warrior would carry more than just arms and armor).

Considering im fat, that would make me some form of bigshot, so yes. if i was a grunt probably, just because people now a days are way bigger then they used to be.

If I can go back in time, fuel for my chainsaw hand will be a minor logistical hurdle in comparison, don't you think?

If you want that would be fine, but make sure you don't go too far back. Far enough there wouldn't be gas to run it. Which would be embarrassing.
