He was Ukranian. I doubt he was any kind of serious wrestler though. His Ukrainian mate bigged him up a lot, as 'very good Ukrainian wrestler' but then his mate was a turd as well.

I've met some real Ukrainian badasses who threw me to all 8 corners of the dojo, didn't know there were 8 corners in a 4 sided room? Neither did I! This wrestler wasn't one of them.
