Eargrind: what it means to you

Every time we roll we grind everything all the time. We have no dick moves.

My Opinion: We have all tapped to pain moves at one point during grappling, especially when we're n00bs. Grappling n00bs (which I'm assuming Rudy was during his Gong Sau) don't know the difference between pain that will cause injury and pain that is only discomfort. Rudy tapped to a pain compliance move, so have I, so have you, let's move on.

yes, we did. I tapped to a variety of things at MITB6 in May, some of which may not have been subs at all...like I'd know.

It was a real eargrind, let me tell you. This whole discussion is an eargrind.

2 important things to remember though-

1- most grappling noobs dont go around pontificating about how their kung fu is the ultra and they cant be beat by a grappling noob, which anthony was.

2- none of this would even ever be bought up again if rudy wasnt an obnoxious self important clownshoe, accepted he had faults in his system of training, and did something about it.


oh and Rudy, Sang is one of those guys who, you know, wins fights here. unlike say you, or sirc, who talks about fighting and only shows up to lose. youre just a fatter older version of him.

I love my Ke?po tag. It makes me feel special. It also reminds me of the ignorant self important clownshoe I was when I first joined the site. Now I'm a slightly less ignorant self important clownshoe who is 10x more capable than I ever was, yet 100% more aware of the vast amount of technique, finesse, and ability I don't possess that many others do. :D

You stated my own opinion better than I could, especially about the moving on part.

I definitely had more fun on this site before I had all the tags. Damn it.

True. I was actually going to point out that Rudy tends to put his foot in his mouth a bit, but I have to post quickly while at work.
