He means those on the site who actually fight, have a proven record to back both their experience and ability, and are generally well regarded in the community. ie: Asia and Omega.

Personally, I think the whole thing about the eargrind thing was (initially), Rudy's form in tma was/is impressive. The bits I saw were sweet...and the part of me that loved tiger steez, sang and rejoiced.

when the gong sau happened, and it went the way it did (you guys should have done it in a cage), It was, in int3rnets EPIC terms, a parallel of my experiences attending my first sparring sessions in SanDa/Kickboxing and getting WTFPWNED.

There's a universality in the failure of that day, and the many of us, who went from forms only, to something alive, and were trounced (most likely worse than Rudy's case, as I know mine was...and it was 80% pressure, 80% power at most) can now use the term, for something that dashes their hopes.

"They've only naused up the main couplet, naused it right up, man, that's a bloody eargrind".

or for an incidence of annoyance, that can't be tolerated.

"don't eargrind me, fella, can you not shout on your phone and clip your nails on the train, shitstick?"
