I May turn up depending on family commitments.
If so will be happy to both roll and spar boxing/k1/san shou rule set (not sure about mma sparring due to potential for face cuts).

No can do, but given I'm now busy every weekend from now till the end of August that was pretty much a given. Sad face.

That's my dad's 55th birthday so I can't make that I'm afraid.
My August has really filled up over the last week. I've got to go to Berlin on the 6th for an industry conference and I'm moving into my new flat down in London on the 13th.
How's the weekend of the 27th for everyone?

The last weekend is my wedding anniversary, so I cannot do that one.
We can push it out until September if you like, nobody else has shown special enthusiasm for an August weekend. People probably have too many tempting social offers on August weekends anyway.
It's a shame because I was thinking of entering a shuai jiao or pushing hands competition in September without bothering to cut weight, but I wanted to see what it was like sparring against a taller, younger heavyweight first (there are no heavyweights training at my Tai Chi class at the moment so I can 'win' with weight and retard strength too often to get a fair gauge of what needs working on technically).

September does look like a better option doesn't it.
Well maybe we could do both.
When's your shuai jiao/push hands thing?
As I have friends who live in and around Oxford so if the dates work I could come to one of your training sessions and then see my mates, you can then enter your comp and then we can have the TD on a weekend after it.
Don't know how workable that would be.

Thanks. The thing I'm thinking of entering is Sept 21st.
You'd be welcome to come to a training session. I suppose sort out the rest of that by PM.
I'll try and organise the throwdown for early September.

Any news on this? My September is getting pretty booked up, with a few things in October too.
