It won't be the last weekend.

At the moment any weekend works for me. I'm assuming people want weekends so they don't need to take time off work etc...

Yes definitely a weekend.

I have never been to a throwdown, but would be good to come along, from memory only the first weekend in August is ok for me.

May i enquire as to the nature of the event? Im curious.

It's a throwdown. People spar and grapple. It is not a sanctioned event and there are no prizes. There are stickies explaining what a throwdown is in more detail, I think.

I'm totally up for being one of the hordes of non committal judoka who rock up unannounced and swell the numbers like last time. Alas, at the moment I can only do the first weekend of August and that might be gobbled up by a training camp.
Cullion, do you have someone up on San Shou rules who can referee your death match?
Posted On:6/01/2011 3:56pm
Tai Chi men don't use San Shou for death matches.
Anybody who has read the rules a few times and can keep time for the round, and 3 second and 5 second intervals should be able to ref it.
