My guess: Either you are a very, very delicate flower; or you were rolling with someone 100 lbs heavier than you; or it wasn’t really what was in picture #2 after all. (I’m guessing it’s the third option.) The picture does not depict a choke at all, though it’s a good position to set up both rear naked chokes and various lapel chokes.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

Presumably, because unlike collar chokes, naked chokes do not make use of clothing and can be performed regardless of what the opponent is wearing. (Unless they are wearing a helmet or gorget…)
