What is this move called (Judo)?

why isn't it called a submission though? I got caught in one of these during randori and it was pretty much "tap or get choked out"

My guess: Either you are a very, very delicate flower; or you were rolling with someone 100 lbs heavier than you; or it wasn’t really what was in picture #2 after all. (I’m guessing it’s the third option.) The picture does not depict a choke at all, though it’s a good position to set up both rear naked chokes and various lapel chokes.

Now I remember! The second arm was actually around the neck and not under the arm! *facepalm* Sorry guys :(

Also, is is common to wear a lot of hair product in BJJ training?

Thats what I thought when I first saw them too.

No offense, but most of the guys I grapple with seem to be short on hair or have very short hair (buzz cut)

Just for the sake of curiosity, why is it called 'naked'? I got into trouble with my friends yesterday as I was looking through this technique on wikipedia...

.....they thought I was watching.....something....quite......inappropriate .

Presumably, because unlike collar chokes, naked chokes do not make use of clothing and can be performed regardless of what the opponent is wearing. (Unless they are wearing a helmet or gorget…)
