    Besides, that's making the assumption that punching is a worthwhile goal for evolution. After all, takedowns and GNP would be far more effective for quadrupeds anyway. Anyone here wanna take a full grown Chimpanzee in their guard?

    Wait scratch that. They use t3h d34dly biting and groin attacks. Perhaps TMAs are more effective in jungle combat?

    Clearly the only way to truly test this hypothesis is to have 3 trained fighter fight a chimp, a gorilla, and an orangutan.

    Boxing gloves, were measuring punching power for science. If we let the apes grab and use grappling what will that show us about if standing on 2 feet gives better punching power.
