I have clients who do 100 mile off road running races.
The local course has well over 3000ft of elevation change per lap, 5 laps with real food 3x per lap.
They actually have pit stops where they hose you off, feed you and help you change.
Yes, pizza is served at one of the stops.
A client of mine uses that as a mantra while running, "6 more miles to pizza, 6 more miles to pizza... ...5 more miles to pizza..."
Only about 20% of the field, that has to qualify first, even finishes.
Salt management is key.
My client finished the last one in 35 hours, fucking nuts.
Ironman Kona only took her -11 hrs.
She's not super skinny and can do many, many pushups.
She can also shoot, so i'm guessing she'll do fine come shtf. -
