One of the things about consumer reports is that you can't make people listen to them. Show me a consumer report about mercury levels in tuna or muscle milk and I'll show you a comments section full of vehement anecdotes from guys who eat that stuff every day without problems. Or, show me a report about how classic Mustangs are prone to gas tank related problems, and you'll see a comments section about how its not a big deal and how the US auto makers have had their heads up their asses since the 70s. The best you can do is provide good information for the people out there that actually do a bit of checking around before giving their cash and time to a karateman.

I saw that site but I couldn't actually work out if they where offering to actually teach anything, just some mutual ego massaging is the best I can figure!

yeah, but membership in the JKD Nexus is free - makes one want to photoshop one's own JKD cert and join their lofty ranks.

I don't think it is goofy. I think he does a fantastic job.
