Hi Albeaver. Welcome to Bullshido. Sounds like a busy training schedule, but the payoff is that you will advance and improve much quicker than most people..

Enjoy the forums, looking forward to your posts.

You did when you said you trained Chambara. Chambara is Japanese for movie sword fighting.

    Playing at being a samurai.

As for Ishin ryu, there are plenty of threads on why its crap. Go and read them.

I will suggest you being by starting a proper thread in Newbietown, the place new posters, such as yourself, are introduced and are gently welcomed to the site. Questions and suggestions are civil and polite....unless you are spied by Omega Supreme.

Currently, you are known as "being caught in the wild", which means an established poster like Judoka_UK, need not treat you as fine china or a Faberge egg.

So because he is a "established" poster he does not have to have logic or reason in his words?

Here's the shorter Bullshido answer, and I'll stick to Japanese arts because you seem to be a bit of Japanophile. What you're doing sucks. Stop. Go do Judo or Kyokushin. Thank us later, after the bruises to your body and ego heal.
