Another summer of tournaments for Cyberdyne Systems Fight Team!
For those that still remember our humble little team, (Crash and model TX), you know we've been fairly active over the years. As time has gone in the past two years I've gone into the coaching field, teaching classes, getting people in shape, and training a bunch of people that want to learn to fight.
Now I have a fighter with 2 fights under his belt, and a new girl has joined the team. Next month, these two fighters will be competing in the TBA-SA World Classic, the largest amateur Muaythai tournament in North America with just under 450 registered fighters.
Nihal won his last fight by an extremely dominant 3rd TKO, and Candy has shown some amazing improvement and dedication in her training. I have a lot of confidence that we're going to walk away from this tournament with two more belts to add to our teams already decently stocked trophy collection.
I myself am planning to come out of my temporary haiatus from fighting for the IKF World Classic in June, located in Orlando, Florida. That same month, Candy and Nihal will also be competing in a State level boxing tournament located here in Atlanta, and potentially another local boxing tournament in September.
This summer should prove to be an exciting time for our small, but growing fight team, so keep an eye out!
For those in the general area, I highly encourage and invite folks to come to Unit 2 Fitness located in midtown to train and spar with our team. We have a number of aspiring fighters also not trained by myself at the gym who plan to compete in this summer's tournament who would greatly benefit from the work. If you would like to plan a visit, just contact me and let me know when and there will be no mat fee.

Best of luck, I'm dusting off the cobwebs myself and competing this weekend and again hopefully in June, here's hoping we're both successful!

Best of luck with the competition, keep us updated with your team please."Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting into position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

Where's Dayton? I'm always on the look out for more fight opportunities for my team.
UPDATE! I've been offered a local fight here in Atlanta at Wild Bill's Fight Night on June 18th. I'm still waiting to hear comfirmation that my opponent has accepted the fight, but I've started my fight preparations and am keeping my fingers crossed :)

Best of luck, coincidentally I'll be fighting San Shou on the same date.

Nice, and thanks :) The luck I need is that my opponent's coach thinks that this match is a good idea. It will be a 4 round title fight for some regional title (though I'm going to try to convice the promoter to do 5 rounds if it looks like it's going to happen).
Sanshou is the open mat or raised platform sport, right? Where you can essentiall get a "ring out" ala virtua fighter/soul caliber
