The three section staff is a beautiful tool to kick ass with (all sorts of fun joint locks and takedowns you can do with them), and better yet, most cops won't even recognize what it is.

Basically you make room in your basement, find a partner to learn kickboxing, hit a heavy bag, then look at the internet for judo. In that order.

The sidebar on that page links a video "How to Avoid Judo Leglocks". Personally, my method for avoiding those is to go to a Judo class.

You know that Christian krotty school is in NC? I've wanted to take a trip out there just to see the madness in person, but I know with my luck I'll do the 1.5 hour drive and nothing batshit insane will be going on that day.

Haven't seen that video in a while, but as far as I remember the best thing about it is that they keep saying "basic judo".
