Mate,I started back weight training last week,so at least another two months before I'm back at SPMA.
3 ops since march,I'm not taking any chances with this one.
The throwdown can happen anytime though,as long as it's a sunday.
I set the deal up with an amorphous date in mind so that when we were ready, the venue was already sorted. So it doesn't matter whether it's this year or early next year, everyone has time to plan travel, etc.
I'd rather be able to take full part, but I can guarantee I won't stay a spectator for long,& if this goes well,we'll be able to use the facility involved again.
There was cost involved, but that was on my undertaking, not so much venue hire, but to circumvent any insurance rubbish.
We've had enough grief getting this organized. -

Not a cent. It's been covered. The actual amount shall remain confidential...Mates rates & **** the taxman.
I spoke to my mate earlier today & he gave me a more detailed description of Dragonfist Freestyles new gym.
Apart from the ring & heaps of mat space, there are decent shower facilities & plenty of parking.
It's in the industrial estate in Kirrawee, just off of the Princes Highway.
I haven't seen the new gym myself yet,in fact I didn't even know they had moved 'till I started bugging them, but the old gym was pretty cool,& the guys reckon the new one is much better.
Beats me how much a TD should cost.
It doesn't really cost very much at all to get into a scrap with a stranger around my way.Last edited by Rickko; 8/14/2011 9:00am at .

In regards to timing, anytime in October, preferably on a Sunday (definately not a Thursday or a Saturday) would be fine for me - I'll (hopefully) be competing in my first BJJ comp early September, and it will be a busy month work wise as well. How does that sit with everyone?
