Eric from "That 70s Show" as venom? That just pissed me off, maybe i'm just to simple. All I could picture is some gangly awkward teen trying to be one of spiderman's most badass nemesis'. They would have been better off with Vin Diesel (who annoys me to no end) IMO.

I was hooked when I read Michael Fassbinder would be playing the Magneto character.

The second Hulk movie was a better movie, but the Hulk was a better character in Ang Lee's film. And I'm not just saying that because it was closer to the comics!

Yeah, the new X-Men looks more or less what I would like the genre to evolve to:
Not just exposition of comic book tropes, but more of plot-based drama. Sort of like Nolan's Batman movies - which I just didn't like THAT much because of some plot holes, but are still very entertaining flicks, no question.

I am going to disagree slightly as it depends on the Era. The New Hulk captured the comic called Hulk Grey very well with some Peter David Hulk era quality.

Ang Lee's captured Sal Buscema and Steve Engleheart's, Chris Claremont and a bunch of other writer's run. Two different hulks IMO so, I have to compare the movies.

By Hulk Grey do you mean "Mr Fixit" or the original Lee/Kirby Hulk?

Mr. Fixit is my favorite Hulk persona.
