Wai Kru, Sityotong, TapOut, Boston Muay Thai,
$25 gets us into both the Mega, and the smoker. $12 for just the Mega. There are tons of good places to drink and eat around Central Square, and the entrance to the gym is next to the Red Line T stop, so if you took the train/bus in, you wouldn't have to lug your gymbag more than 50 yards from the train (cross the street, is about it).
@ everyone: To reiterate what Arbiter said earlier in the thread, if bullies want to get on the card, with the right matchup and forewarning, they're open to it. I won't be, as it would preclude beer that evening, or in the weeks leading up to the event.
Really, this is triple winning. We get to spar, we get to catch a couple or three beers and hang out together, then we get to watch fights, and help raise money for a good cause. Does anyone coming in via bus/train from NY or wherever, want to be met at South Station by myself, to guide them in? It's pretty easy, as it's one nearby train from there, to Central Square, but if you want the limo placard holding me (sans limo hehe), to greet you, I don't mind. We could put it in the Mega TD Highlight. No cupchecks plz.

Believe it or not I was contemplating attending, but a couple of organizations that will remain unnamed went on strike and ruined the remainder of my summer.

The doubletree is probably pretty inexpensive, and maybe a 30 minute T ride away. I don't know of anything in Cambridge, but that's because I never spend any time there.Originally Posted by Sarcastro

You guys want me to try and haggle a group rate, at the place I've been gigging at? It's a nice hotel. Not sure what their prices are, but perhaps we can get a discount, if we book there, all of us. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask.
It's near North Station, which is 2 trains and about 40 minutes-of-our-life away.
