Cleanup in progress. My partner is dispatching an ambulance as I type. Drunken hillbilly cleanup is no exageration on your part. The jail is filling up fast in front of my very eyes.
I thought you were just making it up as you went along, you know something?
I've uploaded a diagram for thread, finally figured out bullshido would accept .pdf files, it does not like Word or .rtf files at all. So I'm working on it, although whether or not I know anything or not remains to be seen.

Well I am really. I've got a couple more conceptual things I want to wite about and I guess I could work through the first two sets of the gokyo with throw guides.
I feel I've covered off most of the big problems with beginner Judo. Obviously there's lots of little things that crop up, like squatting excessively for Seoi nage as cropped up in that Ko soto thing. I feel I've sort of done most of the big overarching principles as well as my current understanding of them goes. -

Here's one of my coaches:
7 time junior national champion, 4 time senior national champion, 1 time US Open champion
1 time mid-west champion, 1st alternate for the 97 world team."We often joke -- and we really wish it were a joke -- that you will only encounter two basic problems with your 'self-defense' training.
1) That it doesn't work
2) That it does work"

One theory why Satoshi Ishii was there:
http://betterjudo.com/2011-senior-na...championships/
The big news from the 2011 Nationals was that Satoshi Ishii, the former All-Japan and Olympic champion, competed in the Open division as a legal U.S. resident. Ishii has been in the U.S. for the last year training as a mixed martial arts fighter. His goal is to become a U.S. citizen and compete in the 2016 Olympics for the U.S. I was told by someone who understands the Japanese mind that since Ishii was ostracized by the All-Japan Judo Federation for becoming a mixed martial arts fighter, this is his way of sticking it to the Japanese federation. Actually, he had proposed to the Japanese Judo Federation to do both Judo and mma. It refused his plan, so he walked away. Now, if we could only get more Japanese Olympic champions to do mma and be ostracized by their federation, we could suddenly become a world power.
By the way, Ishii, who hasn’t done Judo since shortly after the 2008 Olympics, won all his matches by Ippon. His opponents looked like scared, outclassed beginners. -

I train in a rec center in the ghetto. Although one of my coaches is #5 in the states for women's 70kg players (just ahead of Roussey) it still doesn't sound very impressive...Until you realize that every match I win is a victory for Bad News Bears Ragtag Bands Of Misfits.
