IMO there is no reason to make a gong sau conform to the unified rules for sport MMA; It's a fight.

That's nice, but we live in a world full of lawyers. Consequently, there is every reason to have a Gong Sau under an existing ruleset that is legal in the state the GS occurs. As far as the site is concerned, that is.
