I also suffer from "giant thigh syndrome" and big booty. I never really squatted or dead lifted above 400, as I started to develop lower back issues and now am starting to develop hip and knee issues.

Take my advise, unless you're planning on doing powerlifting or have an actual reason for developing max strength your better off doing more functional training or developing explosiveness.

Stronglifts wrote a great article about lower back pain and knee pain whilst doing dead lifts and this http://stronglifts.com/lordosis-why-...how-to-fix-it/. Honestly SL and SS has help my back pain alot that was acquired from Judo/BJJ training.

Alright, everyone who says they squat over bodyweight, and especially if you have a n00b tag, post vids.

seriously? A bodyweight squat is nothing to brag about. Now cranking out some pistols like a badass is vid worthy.

Double body weight is usually where I would even think of questioning it. A bodyweight squat is nothing spectacular.

i can't even imagine asking someone at my gym to video me squatting 225. i watch people routinely squat 315(not quite as low as i go) and i've seen a couple of guys squating 585( not very deep). i'd just feel kinda silly. maybe in a couple of years when i work up to 315 for reps i'll post a vid, if i can even figure out how to.

How many pistols and with what weight would you consider video worthy?

I'd like to see how other people who squat around the same as me squat, as no-one in my gym gets past curls, bench, & Smith machine. Nothing to brag about, o'course.

    I'm 5'10 and 145lbs.

Bench Press - 190 1rm. 155 for reps. Normally I prefer cable flys or dumbell press instead of benching though. Easier on the shoulders.

Squats - Can do sets of 180. No clue what the 1rm is. Hate squats and normally use the girly leg machines instead.

I dont deadlift because it pretty much looks like something that would kill my back or knee.
