    Best ever 1 rep-max lifts, at 70kg body weight (154 lbs), 170cm tall (5'7"):

    Squat: 120kg (265lbs)
    Deadlift: 150 kg (330 lbs)

    I don't bench.

    I'm 6ft 3 and weigh 205lb

My best at each as follows in lbs:

    Bench 264
    Squat 286
    Deadlift 352

Couldn't do any of that now btw, far too many injuries and old age

I haven't been lifting the past few weeks because of a lovely case of bronchitis that I'm trying to keep to myself, but when I last lifted:
    Me: 5'11, 165 lbs, 24 years young
    Bench: 170 5x5
    Deadlift: 280 5x5
    ATG Squat: 250 5x5
Now, my gym lacks a proper squat rack, so I use one of those smith machines instead, so that last number is pretty inflated.
That said, considering I was 145 and had a 120 lb or something deadlift when I finished college, I'm proud of what gains I've made.
    The fool thinks himself immortal,
    If he hold back from battle;
But old age will grant him no truce,
    Even if spears spare him.

Anyone who posted squat numbers that were achieved without the crease of the hip being below the top of the knee (i.e. legal in a powerlifting comp) should post an immediate retraction and apology, and stop and think about what they've done.

    +1
And along the same vein, the next time some curl jockey benching 240# for half-reps on a Smith chuckles at me struggling with 120 free and halfway decent technique, I'm gonna triangle some fool.
    [/n00b rant]

Why do most weightlifters train for form and not function?

Bodybuilding is like Aikido for weights.
