How much do you squat?

I got a level 2 tear of my left iliopsoas from squatting without warming-up enough about 2 months back. It set me back maybe 3 months of progress.

I've lifted on and off for a few years, but I've actually been semi-seriously working on strength training since this winter.

Bench 265 x 1
Squat 425 x 1
Deadlift 495 x1 (hitched a little)

Not pretty, but my deadlift PR is 505lb now.

That's legit, I'll give you credit for that. Similar thing happened to me with a back injury and my deadlifts. Lost almost 18 months.

My progress has stalled since that video and strength actually gone down alot (which must of been 2 or 3 months ago now)

Ive lost 2 inches off my waist though havent been eating as much as I havent been hungry.

Ill get back up there and beat this lift when i find out whats wrong with me and get my ass into gear (or some gear into my ass :BigGrin:

and squat twice your body weight

Why would your squat be so much higher than your deadlift? That seems odd to me.

Generally, squats don't start to exceed deadlifts until you hit around the 800 lb. threshhold.
