Just keep training and your footwork problems will be gone.
I'll post up a nice video of how to drill moving and striking at the same time, while using the movements to increase your power and not to decrease it like many newbies do. -

I also recommend the sparring video. While that may be embarrassing (or really impressive?) and people will rag on you a bit, its the best way to get advice online. -

Yeah. Damn a vid would hit the spot but I literally can't.
But I'm really getting what I need right now.
I drilled the angles and movements.
And yeah, I do have the tendency of leaving the back leg, it's somewhat fixed now, been at it for like 2 hours.
And thanks for the vid. I found the one on 7:04 extremely useful.
Seriously, I'm doing this next.
EDIT: Alright, these are enough for now. I wouldn't want to overcrowd my brain and not be able to focus on anything.
