Alright, I'll monitor my feet tomorrow and see how I'm really moving and then do some drills.
Just keep training and your footwork problems will be gone.
I'll post up a nice video of how to drill moving and striking at the same time, while using the movements to increase your power and not to decrease it like many newbies do.

I drilled the angles and movements.
And yeah, I do have the tendency of leaving the back leg, it's somewhat fixed now, been at it for like 2 hours.
