Isn't that the truth. What a beast. My tighthead is almost as big as him, and I have to grab jersey, I can't get a good bind until crouch.

Jonah Lomu doing judo, now that would be a match worth watching, serious strength and weight with fast speed

The two flow well together I think. I've hip thrown people out of mauls before.

I remember playing in a school rugby match in ireland many years ago, one of our team slid infront of the opposition player who was holding the ball. Had his leg extended out then grabbed the opposition player by the neck and tripped him over.

    Oppositions response
"HE CAN'T DO THAT ITS BLOODY JUDO"(but in an irish accent)

Never used Judo in a Rugby match as in done a throw, my brother, however, used it 5 years after quitting Judo to tomoe nage a guy as he was peeling off with the ball from a maul.

I'm barely good enough to get a throw in randori let alone use it in rugby. I went back for a judo class about 5 months, had not previously been for at least a year and a half. For some insane reason went for a te garuma and the white belt I was against just charged through me forcing my body back and causing a loud cracking sound from my ankle, thankfully only sprained not broken.

When I am out of training for my new job and have got past my wedding in 6 weeks will head back to judo just can't afford injury at the mo, which always seems to happen when I train judo.
