    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I would like to go on record that this was not an "amateur" San Shou match. It was an exhibition match. The kid that Sirc fought is my new "Protege" I call him mini me. He's on a 6 match win streak taking the state pankration title 2 months ago.

    Good call.
Both on the protoge and also on feeding sircs to your beginners.
Learning how to deal with n00bspazzes is an important lesson, and Sirc can be usefull for a change!

Can you please clarify this for those not in the know:
Pankration, like Greco-Roman wrestling, or pankration, like pancrase?

Yeah, I've ran into that looking for Muay Thai gyms. Ones teaching "Sneezing Chicken Fist" style Kung Fu Then advertising "self-defense" and "non-competitiveness" trying to cater to bored housewives.

Being aware of the take down changes everything and it's an easy transition to go straight to grappling.
How do you mean? I'm a Judo Nikyu now.

+1, look how timid it made me, even though I think he was just half-assing all the takedowns (hes a few years out of practice).
