    Depression puts things in perspective. Things a normal person would just ignore, I understand and can take.
    Really?

    I wake up sometimes and lie still for hours in my bed unable to move and sometimes I go through the day and no depression. Anger usually does the trick. I focus on something that makes me really mad and sometimes punch the wall untill the pain and adrenaline override the numb feeling.
    I'm going to say no.

    For example, people like to think they will not die and that life is special in both an emotional and objective way
    Knowing you're going to die and not wanting to die are two different things completely.

    Go to your Doctor. Now. Explain your thinking and training regimen and your Resting/Not Resting, Sleeping/Not Sleeping and your Thinking including your past Suicidal thoughts.

    Don't be proud. Go to your Doctor. Expert Medical opinion will do more for you than asking strangers on the internet for their opinions and giving them a value that they may not have.

    If you are on Medication, take it. There have been far too many stories of those on Medication deciding not to take it and then getting themselves into Trouble and also hurting others in the process.

    Doctor. Go.

    I used to think like you, then I started getting actual help and its a relief to feel happy around people

    fact is being spock like makes you feel sophisticated and smart, but really its you being scared of your emotions, if you don't deal with this it'll blow up in your face, take it from someone with first hand experience: this **** will keep building up and you'll get progressively worse both mentally and physically not to mention it will kill all your relationships.

    The end result isn't logical supremacy its being deathly afraid of your own head, ain't no way to live
    TL;DR get help you don't really understand your own head as much as you'd like to think.
