Style: BJJ--
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet, but I've been wearing Fuji gis for BJJ for years, which you can get in a few places. I usually go to jiujitsuprogear.com, but I think budovideos has em too. They're quite sturdy, maybe not so much as a $150 koral or atama, but the white ones were 90 bucks with shipping last time I ordered, and they'll certainly last long enough to justify ordering one a little more frequently.
They're not pre-shrunk and will shrink like you'd expect in a hot drier. I usually order a size above what I normally wear and find that after shrinking it fits me perfectly. They also, like Korals, tend to wear a little long in the arm, so they fit lanky guys like me perfectly. I wear an A3, which weighs around four pounds.
If you're looking for something super light that's decent quality, you can try a Vulkan, which I've found to be exceptionally sturdy for something weighing 2.5-3 pounds.
The last time I ordered a Fuji was about a year ago, and the last Vulkan I got was about 4 years ago, so things may have changed, but afaik people I know are still having good results with the fujis. -

That appears to be the Bad Boy Pro Series Lightweight Gi:
http://www.budovideos.com/shop/custo...cat=804&page=1
Can you do some close-up shots of the jacket (near the lapel) so we can see the weave and how thick it is?
Also, are the pants rip-stop? Or just a very light cotton blend?
Is the crotch roomy enough such that it doesn't bind? I ask this because I have had a couple of gis that are low-cut which takes away space from the groin which causes binding during sparring.
Have you dried it (or washed it warm)? How much shrinkage, if any?
Thanks! -
