I actually had someone who would come into my class and try to teach over me. He was very impressed with himself and oblivious to anything else going on in the class. A couple of times I politely suggested that if he would take a little time to learn something, there would be some value to what he was teaching. Unfortunately, he was never able to see the value of learning anything and other people began to refuse to work with him. I couldn't trust him not to hurt the new students and the advanced students wouldn't work with him so he decided it would be better to walk around and "coach" everyone. This was after only about five or six classes. He "coached" the wrong person and was on the verge of a hard and painful lesson when I finally decided there was no hope for him as a student. I invited him to leave and have never seen him since.
The lesson I learned from that is that you need to treat a horse's ass, like a horse's ass. You just can't save everyone. This particular guy was a hell of a lot less dickish than "didacat". I am pretty sure didacat would not have made it to class two before my patience would have left me. I call bullshit on him being in anyone's class more than once if he actually behaved as he claims. -
