Thread: Phukets Greatest Douchebag-
4/12/2011 4:42am, #21
I was in Phuket a few months back, there is loads of this bullshit that goes on, titles being awarded to westerners who have one fight with a paid to take a dive local bum.
Why is this guy special from the other 10000s over there?
What has he done to you specifically to make you single him out?
P.S I trained at Tiger Muay Thai, didnt get to go to one of their events but heard from people that did whilst I was there that they are a mixture of competative fights and miss matches with local fall guys.
There was also a team over from Holland I think that challanged the rest of the guest fighters at the camp at one event so it was Holland Vs rest of the world.
Depends on the guy fighting.
Its tough to make money out there.

Do fight bums make decent $? I love thai food and I suck at fighting, so I see a new career for myself.
And no, the guy isn't a fake yet. He's a braggart, dipshit, douchebag. Won't be long before he's a fraud, too I bet."Never trust a quote you read on the internet" - Abraham Lincoln

"persona disrespectful to Muay Thai" ? what the hell does that mean its not a religion.
Come on bro tell the truth, Did this guy get the hooker you wanted?
Dragon looked like a pretty good place to train the few times I went past it and one of the guys I was with trained there for a few days and said it was good.

Personally I'd rather learn clinch techniques from my cat than that guy. With his skill set he wouldn't be out of the beginner class yet at my last gym.
I don't get how you can watch that video and not want to call him out, from all accounts he is one of those guys I get immense pleasure from kicking in the head."Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting into position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

Most foreigners go to Phuket, fight a bum and then LEAVE.
This guy has been living there for 4 years and is a trainer at Dragon Muay Thai. A very arrogant trainer aswell.
I find his whole persona disrespectful to Muay Thai very disrespecful to Muay Thai.
