Good to hear on both accounts! I look forward to meeting and sparring with you both. As per my previous posting here the event page for it:

As we are getting closer to the day, I'd like to know if there is a good land-mark at Balboa Park we can meet at. I've never been to this park before so can one of you tell me a visible marker to meet you all at this Saturday? Thanks.

That's a good question. I've actually only ever been to Morley Field, not anywhere in the park proper. I'm open to suggestions, though.
If you haven't seen it yet, you can find a pdf map of the park here.

When we used to spar in the park, we would meet at Redwood Circle. It's on the 6th avenue side of Balboa Park, on the left side of the bridge on the map. It's a little bit up the road from the lawn bowling area.

Sounds good. It's just going to be the three of us? Seems like there was such potential for this.

Redwood Circle sounds good to me. I sent a message to you both with some more detail and it will be good to spar with you all this Saturday.

Balls, that's what I get for going AWOL for a while.
Was it fun, everyone?

I got my ass kicked, but that's what I was expecting. Had a good time and learned some things, tho. Always worth it.

I had a good time. Nothing makes a 3-day vacation even better like a bit of violence. I don't often to get to do any savate or la canne sparring, so it was a treat to be able to do so. I'm also going to edit that LPR video and make it real ye olde time and post it in this forum.
