    sets of 20 pushups every 1/2 an hour ... then increase to 50

    eventually you will be doing 800 pushups in an 8 hour day ....

    same with situps ...

    do you have clinical depression? That's still keeping me from working out. I have medicine, just need a bigger dose.

    One thing you want to do to be a good athlete in general is to get good endurance. You can be as strong as you want but if you don't have endurance you can't use that strength. Running, Hitting a heavy bag, Shadow boxing(fighting with an imaginary opponent), Jump rope are all good things for endurance. For strength training if your beginning do push ups, pull ups, dips, crunches or anything that uses your own bodyweight as resistance. Then when that gets too easy join a gym or get a weight set.

    thanks for all the info guys, now the only thing I need to do now is set some hours so no one will be woken up while i use the treadmill and I should be set
