If you WANT to get in street fights join a gang and roll deep with your homies. If you don't want to get in street fights go to college and avoid drinking/fraternities.

Dude, I live in a third world-country where it is customary to take a drink when you pass by people drinking and I am ALLERGIC to alcohol. I've been through very close calls of being beaten up because people think its insulting to not take a shot whenever I pass them. Compound that with the fact that its also culturally acceptable to have a party near streets.

Talk-fu and run-chan can only give mo oh so much confidence to walk in the night.

Would be nice if I wasn't allergic to some unknown ingredient in alcoholic beverages. Breaking out in rashes, hyperventillating and other stuff tends to go unnoticed by shitfaced filipinos.

Are you concerned with learning to fight defensively, in the main, or are you wanting to be the aggressor?
Just curious.
You know what they say about most fights going to the ground?
But learning how to hit hard is just as important in my view. Best defense = a good offense.
Box first. Then you can also find out whether you can take a good punch or not.
