That was great, guys :) Thanks to Bobby and Chris for organizing the thing (and strikistanian for bringing extra folks). Cool to finally meet Gabe and Eric. Eric, please consider joining Redline; we would love to have you. Gabe was a class act, strong, skilled and athletic. It was a pleasure to get completely schooled by him, Had an extremely entertaining roll with bobyclumbsyninja (I should have slammed you, you limey bastard). Always fun to watch Kosherkickboxer's ongoing "grudge matches" with Strikistanian. He's been trying to beat him (in anything) for years :D

Awesome day guys, That's what the site is all about.

hope you guys had fun... kinda had a date and im graduating high school tommorow so the whole showing up bruised battered and torn thing wouldnt have been great haha hopefully ill make the mega... anyone got video?

Strikestanian my foot will recover, and yes, when you add the elbow, it is a very effective way to break guard. I'm paying for my stubborness with a painfull limp.

On a happy note, got my first subs via guillotine, and kimura. Did also get owned, in multiple ways, and that's also part of the magic.

Kosherkickboxer did very very well, at all things but beating strike at something...but damnit he tried. Sneak attacks and everything.

Everyone did very well, and we all learned. Arbeiter said it's an open invite for throwdowns...so I wanna do another late June-ish.

That was outstanding, and I had high expectations. Glad to provide submissions to everybody! Apparently, my "squirm around in the mount and hope for a convenient limb to pop out" strategy hasn't caught on in pro MMA for a valid reason.

Definitely interested in Redline, the facility and people are great, just need to finish budgeting the money, and more impotantly, the time.

Hey, did anybody else know they will ticket you in Cambridge for an expired meter, if the meter expires after the posted enforcment hours? They might as well just put up a toll booth and hand everybody a $25 ticket when they enter the city limits. It would save a lot of time.

Here's a dirty little secret about Redline: Boxing is pretty cheap (about $60/month IIRC), and every member can take any class on thursdays for no extra charge. That means you can go to any/all of the boxing classes and get SanDa and BJJ (once a week) for no extra charge. If you fall in love with either sport, you can think about expanding your membership when you can afford more. In the mean time add some Saturday open mats into the mix and you're getting somewhere (for a reasonable price).
