People make up a lot of reasons for disrespecting the chun, but heart it's disappointment.

Disappointment that no matter how hard they train in it, there can only be one MASTER WONG.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

    Addy,

As you become expert with the search function here, another two words to search on for your erudition - “Phil Elmore” – perhaps Wing Chun’s most favorite alumni on Bullshido.

What did TV Dragnet’s Sgt. Joe Friday once say: “I judge pot by the company it keeps.”

You could go to his site too, to get the real horror. PM someone for the address, I won't promote it. Ignore the crickets.

The book beats the movie hands down, if for no other reason than the alternate ending.

    Thanks for all your replies.
What I got from all of that is that, practitioners of WC, are arrogant, stuck up and think their MA is the best. Fair enough, I guess if i'm planning to continue wing chun I should keep a realistic way of thinking, and respect all arts for what they are.

    Thanks again everyone.
