    Lucian Bute vs Carl Froch

    Hi,

So Lucian Bute vs Carl Froch, do you think that's going to happen someday? And who would you bet on?

Froch should have the Stamina, power and chin to weather the early rounds and come back from 5/6 onward for a late TKO or split points decision.

I think Carl Froch takes it simply because he's been up agaist stiffer competition than Bute has recantly.

In all seriousness, I don't know anything about Froch..never seen him fight. I was checking out his stats on Boxrec and they are pretty impressive..he's beaten Pascal already..KO's opponents 71% of the time. Not bad. But, obviously I would be cheering for Bute. Damn, I wish Montreal was closer so I could see some of his fights live.
But I'd have to see Froch fight to make a prediction.I should check youtube.
I am still having a hard time getting used to the idea that just about everything is on youtube nowadays. It used to be, that if you missed a good fight, you were out of luck unless the replay was on a few times or you knew someone who taped it. Now it seems like everything is out there somewhere.

If you missed Bute's last fight vs Brian Magee it's on youtube and the quality is pretty good

Wasn't Jean Pascal billed as now fighting out of Canada?

    Hmm, Froch.

Yes, Pascal has been fighting fairly regularly in both Quebec City and Montreal as of late and is being billed as a Canadian. I believe he was born elsewhere..Haiti, if I recall correctly.
